As sisters, we’ve shared plenty over the years. Clothes, advice, and more than a few conversations in front of the mirror.
One thing kept coming up: why was it getting harder to find clothes we actually wanted to wear? We still loved beautiful colors, flattering shapes, and getting dressed for an occasion. We just wanted comfort, too.
Too often, it felt like we had to choose between the two.
Margaret & June began with a simple belief: getting older shouldn’t mean settling for clothes that don’t feel like you.
We wanted women our age to feel welcome, understood, and excited about their wardrobes again. A lovely cardigan for lunch with friends. A comfortable sweater for a day with family. Something special simply because you felt like wearing it.
That belief has stayed with us throughout these 22 years. And as we prepare to close our doors, it’s what we hope you’ll carry with you.
